Diving into mindfulnessEd works with people coming to 1-2-1 mindfulness training with a wide range of situations, including mental and physical health challenges, life transitions, work and family stresses, relationship issues, as well as those looking to deepen their mindfulness practice to support optimum flourishing and integration in their lives. The great advantage of one-to-one mindfulness is flexibility. We can take things at your pace, addressing precisely what is coming up in your life, and exploring how best to bring mindfulness to it.

How do I get started? Please contact Ed for an initial discussion of your needs. The usual next step is to arrange a one-hour taster session, either via Zoom or in-person in Cuckfield, West Sussex. This gives you an opportunity to explore the approach, experience some guided mindfulness practice, and get a feel for working together. If we agree to go ahead, this might then mean working through a version of the gold-standard eight-week mindfulness course (8x60 min sessions), adapted for individuals. Or for those already experienced with mindfulness, it might mean mindfulness mentoring sessions to support you to sustain and deepen your practice.

How much does it cost? One-to-one sessions cost £75 per hour for one person or £95 per hour for two people (plus a £6 room hire fee for in-person sessions).

"Ed teaches mindfulness in a clear and simple way, getting the balance just right between explanation and practice. He has a real skill of providing just enough information and guidance to get you off the starting blocks and, when you need to know more, his depth of knowledge and experience is readily available for you. He tailors his approach to suit each individual. His approach is gentle and encouraging and his sense of humour is never far away. The supporting material is excellent, allowing you to read more about what you’ve done in each session in your own time."
